Happy Summer Equinox - especially to Cancers! Kicking off the Summer, Cancer is the first Zodiac of the season. Making Cancer a cardinal water sign that is associated with the crab. This zodiac can be seen as shy and "in their shell." They're also known for their warm motherly nature, for being caring, and can feel like home to those around them. Cancer does rule over the 4th House in Astrology, which has to do with your home life, relationship with your mom, and family overall. Unevolved: When unevolved, Cancers can tend to be unsure of themselves and their environments around them. They can even be very timid. Unevolved: If unevolved, you’ll notice a heightened sense of emotional validation to feel secure. This is the placement that is the definition of “wearing your heart on your sleeve.” They’re always willing to lend a helping hand and offer support when needed.
Unevolved: Unknowingly, Cancer Moons when unevolved can come off as manipulative to get what they want out of a situation. This could look like simply restricting the full truth or hiding their own emotions. Due to Cancer’s deep sense of care, you can also see this placement become very defensive/possessive over their loved ones to an extreme. As a result, Cancer Moons lean towards more of a jealous side that gets their feelings hurt more easily.

Unevolved: If unevolved, Cancer Mercurys can often come off as too emotional or shy when communicating with others. They can also tend to be hesitant to “come out of their shell” or comfort zone to learn further topics they’re unaware of. Venus
The planet of love and femininity! In one’s chart, this can show how they go about romantic relationships, and how they express/see beauty and artistry. Venus is determined by where it was in the sky when you were born. Venus is in one zodiac sign for about 30 days before moving into the next sign.
Evolved: Cancer Venus loves by nurturing those around them like a mother would! When evolved, they love sharing their space with those they love and making others feel like they’re at home away from their own home. This is a huge love language in itself for Cancer. Cancer here is very selfless and willing to give everything to their loved ones.
Unevolved: When Cancer Venus is unevolved, they can have more of a tendency to control situations in ways that benefit them the best. In search of stability and assurance, they could come off as more attached than their usual ways.
Mars
Mars rules over masculinity in Astrology! This planet is all about taking action, being assertive, and one’s impulses. Evolved: Cancer Mars knows how to properly protect those that they love. They’re good at making moves within their comfort zone, especially if it involves family or their home. This placement is indicative of someone who is fiercely loyal as well.
Unevolved: When unevolved, Cancer Mars can tend to lean more towards getting passive-aggressively annoyed instead of being direct with what’s bothering them. This placement can also oftentimes struggle to be assertive when taking actions if unevolved. Having a lack of confidence and not wanting to leave their comfort can create a struggle when it comes to going after what they want.
